The city of Salinas is situated 8 mi (13 km) west of Monterey and the Pacific Coast. SIGHTESEEING IN DOWNTOWN

The event features demonstrations by the American Blue Angels, the Canadian Snowbirds, and the Red Baron Squadron, drawing thousands of visitors to Salinas over three days.

Visitors arriving by air or staying to enjoy the air show will find several comfortable accommodations just a short drive from the airport, all of which offer shuttle service to the terminal. In response to growing tourism, Salinas has decided to expand the airport capacity and facilities to include shops, eateries and an upscale 100+ room hotel.
